Congrats on somehow avoiding the stereotypical hierarchical corporate culture. I've experienced seeing managers sent to "management training". Reminiscent of the "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" movie, they came back with much of their humanity (what had previously made them good managers) stripped.

totally agree!!!! Fodder for future conversations: What terrible AND great aspects of all of our cultures are by accident?
